Hero · Bandit · Aridhol · Manetheren · Nym · Saidar · Saidin General Hero Information:Heroes of the Horn are added to the Pattern throughout the ages. Our heroes go back as far as the Age of Legends once they have joined the Pattern. They may choose to join any of 6 ancient guilds, some old and others very old. Each guild has one ally and 4 possible enemies.Heroes are not afraid to fight. In fact, when becoming a hero, you are set to PK on. You will rely on your guild for protection as well as learn to fight like a true hero. Also upon becoming a hero, your old guild is removed and you will be placed in the guild Hero. All heroes share this guild until they are accepted into one of the other six Hero guilds: Nym, Manetheren, Aridhol, Darkness, Saidar, or Saidin. You must be level 90 to become a hero. After paying your Quest Point fee (or taking advantage of the Trial Beast Option), you will be set to level 91. From there you may level as high as 110. There is a new area exclusively for Heroes if you walk down from Hassan. This area has new leveling mobs and new powerful mobs holding Lengedary (heroes only) stock equipment. It is a new environment and a new playing field. A big goal of Heroes is to give a concetrated PK range to have more interesting player fights. In light of this, there are only 6 Guilds for Heroes and the # of allies and enemies is equal for each guild to promote fuller guilds with more balanced matchups. Because PK is a focus of Heroes, we are moving away from the High priced QuestMaster equipment and will instead be focusing on shorter immortal quests for better prizes. This will make equipment easier to get and less painful to lose in the fight. Hero's can also reach their guildhalls by casting a portal to Hall. Hero Guilds:Hero- Also upon becoming a hero, your old guild is removed and you will be placed in the guild [Hero]. All heroes share this guild until they are accepted into one of the other six Hero guilds: Nym, Manetheren, Aridhol, Darkness, Saidar, or Saidin. The Hero guild has one skill currently: Detect Portal.Back To TopBandit- This is where Hero's go when they are bad. They have no guildskills and are open target for any other Hero to attack. They have no guild equipment.Back To TopDarkness- Darkness can easily be compared to the Shadow guild. These characters receive Chaos Shield, Thrust, and Zeal. Chaos shield gives the character the ability to evade bashing, and also gives the character a twenty-five percent damage resistance to attacks. Thrust is a skill which can be compared to backstab. Zeal allows the character to be able to use area attacks in combat. Darkness guild members have the following guild equipment; Harbringer Leggings and Trolloc Skin Boots. Aridhol - Aridhol can easily be compared to such guilds as Seanchan and Whitecloak. In fact, they receive the skills Mashadar's Touch (blood), Grasp (ravage), and Engarde (stance). In addition to these skills, these characters also receive a new skill called Shadowstep. Shadowstep is very similiar to dream. The difference between them lies in the fact that the character does not have to be sleeping in order to shadowstep. Aridhol guild members have the following guild equipment; Tainted Breastplate and Tainted Bow of Mashadar.Back To TopManetheren- Manetheren can easily, quite easily, be compared to Red Hand. These characters receive Critical Strike (luck), Bravery (hunt), and Rally (warcry + healing bonus). In addition to these skills, these characters also receive a new skill called Magic Resist. This skill helps the character, obviously, resist spells being cast upon them. Manetheren guild members have the following guild equipment; Silver Foxhead Medallion.Back To TopNym- Nym can be compared to WolfBrother, though it would not be so readily easy to do so. These characters receive Entangle, Permanent Detection, Increased Healing Rates, and Fury. Entangle is an uncancellable effect which has a chance to lag the opponent whenever he/she moves. Permanent detections allow the character to see hidden and invisible characters at all times. Increased healing rates, well, increases the healing rate for the character, even during combat. Fury gives the characters increased combat abilities once their health points drop below fifty percent. The Nym guild members have the following guild equipment; Serpentine Vines and Glowing Moss.Back To TopSaidar- Saidar can easily be compared to the Aes Sedai guild. These characters carry a modified version of balefire, air shield, and pierce magic. Air shield gives the character a brief moment of invulnerability to attacks. Pierce magic allows the character to enhance their spell power by ignoring all of the target's defenses and doing the maximum damage allowed for the spell being cast. Saidar guild members have the following guild equipment; Silky Lace Belt and Crackling Shield of Air.Back To TopSaidin- Saidin can easily be compared to such guilds as Warder and Asha'man. They are skilled blademasters, that utilize Mastery (an Aiel-like veil skill, but it only works on melee attacks). These characters will also be able to seek Oneness (void), which will give them bonus attacks for every few rounds of combat they take part in. They also receive Rolling Earth (firestorm). Saidin guild members have the following guild equipment; Rolling Ring of Fire and Earth and Dragon Fang 'etched' gloves.Back To TopHero · Bandit · Aridhol · Manetheren · Nym · Saidar · Saidin Connect to us at: telnet://legends.terminal.org:7575 Or try our ip addy : telnet://207.199.187.244:7575 |
